Passionate for God. Compassionate to all people.

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Pinecliff Baptist Church.

Through our worship service we desire to share Jesus with those who do not know Him and nurture those who do know Him as their Lord and Savior.  We focus on illustrating the love, grace and mercy of Jesus through Bible study, song services, preaching and community outreach.

Pinecliff Baptist is a theologically conservative church that strives to be loving, compassionate and non-judgmental.  We are involved in mission projects and our goal is to give every member an opportunity to minister to and serve others both inside and outside our church walls.

Thank you for giving us the opportunity to introduce you to our ministry at Pinecliff Baptist.  It is our prayer that you will join us in service for Jesus.  I look forward to meeting you personally.

A personal relationship with Jesus Christ is the requirement for true salvation.

To have this relationship one must take the following steps:

  1. Admit that you have sinned (that is, somewhere, somehow in your life you have missed the mark when it comes to being perfect in the eyes of the One, True, Holy God).
  2. Believe that there is a penalty for sin and that Jesus Christ has already paid that debt for you by dying on the cross.
  3. Confess these sins to God.  Tell Him that you believe that Jesus paid your debt for you.  Ask God to forgive you of these sins and ask Jesus to live in your heart and show you how to become a "brand-new" person who has a relationship with Jesus. (Living your life in this new way is called repentance).

After you take the above steps it is very important that you let someone know.  You will need other Christian friends to support you and to mentor you in order that you may grow as a Christ follower. If you have made this decision we encourage you to contact us and let us know how we can assist you!

True salvation means being saved from paying the debt you owe to God for your sin (this means going to heaven) but it also means being saved to work for God's glory while you are still on earth (this means telling other people about this relationship that you now have with Jesus Christ).

The Bible is the inspired Word of God.  It is the instruction manual for anyone who follows Christ.  From the Bible we learn what God expects of us. The Bible teaches us to be obedient to God but if we do not read and study His Word then we will not know what His expectations are.
